The Angry Arab on Nawwarah Najm
Without a doubt, this woman is one of the leading brave protesters of the Egyptian uprising. Her voice has been ubiquitous on Aljazeerah. Yet, she is nowhere to be seen in the Western media:
- Perhaps because she wears a hijab;
- Perhaps because she is fiercely anti-Israel/anti-US;
- Perhaps because she has a picture of Hasan Nasrallah on her blog. Her blog is a leading Arab blog, by the way.
PS She is the daughter of Egyptian poet, Ahmad Fuad Najm. (x)
